Nike Zoom Fly 6 Shoes (Men's)

The Nike Zoom Fly 6 is a fast, fun, and versatile shoe built for runners who want race-day energy in a package durable enough for daily training. It’s lighter, softer, and snappier than the Zoom Fly 5, leaning closer to Nike’s super-shoes but with a touch more forgiveness.

A dual-density midsole combines plush ZoomX foam on top with a firmer SR-02 base, wrapped around a full-length carbon fiber Flyplate for propulsion. Stack height sits around 42 mm in the heel and 34 mm in the forefoot, for an 8 mm drop. The men’s US 10 weighs about 266 grams, roughly 10% lighter than the previous version.

The woven mesh upper hugs the foot like a racer, using a thin tongue and full inner sleeve for a secure lockdown. It fits low and snug, so runners with wide feet may prefer sizing up half a size. The outsole uses targeted rubber pods for traction and durability, while the softer midsole foam provides better cushioning and smoother transitions than before.

Compared to the Zoom Fly 5, the 6 feels livelier and more agile. The 5 was firm and planted; the 6 is more flexible, energetic, and fluid through toe-off. It trades some stability for responsiveness, making it better suited to runners with efficient form and a midfoot or forefoot strike.

The ride character is playful and propulsive, ideal for tempo runs, long workouts, and race-pace training. It’s not as explosive as the Vaporfly or Alphafly, but far more comfortable for everyday mileage.
