Upon finalizing your order, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Once your order is fulfilled and ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation including tracking information. This tracking number will enable you to monitor the progress of your package at each stage of its journey. Our dedicated team is available to address any inquiries you may have before or after placing your order.
* After discounts and before taxes. Surcharge may be applied for oversized items or if remoteness of delivery address is exceptional. Free shipping does not apply to Express shipping options.
SHIPPING RATES
For orders under $100, you will be offered a few options at checkout. We offer flat rate shipping across Canada for $16. Calculated shipping is also available and you will be presented with specific rates that apply to shipping destination. We only ship via tracked shipping options.
For calculated shipping, shipping fees are estimated by couriers based on weight. If there is a significant difference in cost once your order is packaged, our team will contact you to confirm the additional costs for shipping.

PICK UP IN STORE
To pick up your order at one of our locations, simply select "Pick Up" at checkout. Based on local availability, you will then have the option to choose which of our location you wish to pick up from*.
Our team will prepare your order and set it aside. To collect your order, please have your order number and a piece of photo ID. Our system estimates pick up windows based on traffic. You will receive an email or an SNS notification once your order is ready for pick up.
LOCAL DELIVERIES
We offer convenient local deliveries to Calgary, Cochrane, the Bow Valley from our Canmore location. We offer deliveries in Squamish, North Vancouver and downtown Vancouver area from our Squamish location. If you choose local delivery please have an address with a concierge or add a note where we can leave your delivery if you are not home (ie. behind the flower pot).
Local deliveries are free for orders over $30.
To select Local Delivery at checkout, select the "Ship" option, then select "Local Delivery" after you have entered your delivery address.
You will receive a notification when your order is being prepared, out for delivery or delivered . Please include your cellphone number at checkout in case our team needs to contact you to arrange delivery.
ORDER TRACKING
After placing an order, you will receive a tracking number via email. You’ll also be able to see the tracking number in your account.
PROCESSING TIMES
Our team does their best to get your orders shipped as quickly as possible. Most orders placed before 12 PM local time are shipped and in transit same day.Cut-off times for couriers are typically mid-afternoon. As a result Orders placed later in the day will be received by couriers either same day or the next business day, resulting in transit delays.
If an order cannot get fully allocated at a single location, it will be split between both our stores. You will receive two shipping notifications and two tracking numbers, one for each shipment.
DELIVERY DATES
Transit times for domestic orders are typically between 2 and 7 business days. Shipping timelines are estimations provided by couriers. There is no promise that you will receive the item on the estimated date as weather, closures, strikes and holidays affect delivery timelines.
Please allow additional days for delivery transit during Christmas Holidays. Orders are not delivered or picked up by couriers on weekends or civil holidays.
CANCELLING OR MODIFYING ORDER
To cancel or modify an order after it has been placed and you have received an order confirmation, please contact us. For emergencies, please call either of our physical locations and our team will assist you.
Please include your order number in the subject line of your email to streamline the process.
USA AND INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
SkiUphill offers $15 flat rate shipping to the continental United States on order over $100 for regular parcels. This includes shoes, bindings and most products. We use United States Postal Service (USPS) tracked services and UPS for USA-bound shipments. All US orders are delivered duties unpaid (DDU).
For Oversized Items (Skis, Ski Poles), SkiUphill offers a $40 flat rate shipping to the continental United States.
If you are ordering from outside North America, we use DHL to ship worldwide with tracking. International rates are estimated only and larger items such as skis have additional fees beyond what is quoted.
REFUSING DELIVERY, INCORRECT ADDRESS
If you refuse your order upon delivery, or no-one was available to accept your order despite multiple delivery attempts, or your order is left unclaimed at the shipping courier, your order will be returned to our warehouse and you will incur a re-shipping fee.
INSURANCE
Every order includes a $100 insurance in case your order is damaged, lost or stolen while in transit. Additional insurance through Route Package Protection directly on the cart page. If the additional insurance is not selected, your order will be insured for $100. Route insurance is an inexpensive way to ensure your order will be fully replaced or refunded if it is lost, damaged or stolen.
SkiUphill is responsible for all shipped goods up until the courier demonstrates receipt of goods. Once the courier has accepted the package & scanned the goods, SkiUphill relinquishes all responsibility.
CARBON NEUTRAL SHIPPING
If you download the Shop app, Shopify offsets all the carbon emissions for your order.
When shipping carriers transport goods between locations, the transportation methods release greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. Shipping is an essential aspect of most businesses, but carbon emissions from shipping negatively impact the planet and contribute to climate change.
You can reduce or remove the carbon dioxide emissions from packages that you ship in multiple ways:
- by using compostable packaging
- by using carbon-neutral shipping options
- by supporting initiatives that contribute to carbon offset or removal
A carbon offset process reduces the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, so that increased greenhouse gases elsewhere have a net impact of 0. For example, a truck might release 1 kg of CO2 in one mile, while actions to preserve a forest remove 1 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere. If you purchase one carbon offset that supports forest preservation for each mile that a truck travels, then the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere remain the same.
A carbon removal process captures carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and then stores it. For example, if a truck or a plane that delivers your shipment releases 1 kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere, and you are subscribed to the Planet app, then Shopify ensures that 1kg of CO2 is also sucked from the atmosphere and stored away using solutions and technologies in Shopify Sustainability Fund.

We are also Climate Neutral Certified as a company. In addition we reuse packaging where we can, and when we can’t, we use No Issue, compostable packaging. SkiUphill may, in its sole discretion, refuse or cancel any order and limit order quantity. SkiUphill may also require additional qualifying information prior to accepting or processing any order. Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify SkiUphill’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. SkiUphill reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If SkiUphill cancels an order after you have already been billed, SkiUphill will refund the billed amount.
