How to Return an Order in Four Steps


Create your return request

To return your product, sign in to the customer portal. Select the order number you wish to return and click on "Request Return". Select a reason for returning your items and submit your request.

Re-pack your package

Re-seal the original package with the product you’re returning inside. Please include the order number or the original packing slip.

Wait for your request to be approved.

When your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

Ship your return package

Bring your package to a local post office or courier. Find Canada Post offices. Returns must be dropped off at a post office or carrier's service location, which will provide you with a receipt to hold onto until your return is complete.

Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns on items that are in like-new condition within 15 days of original purchase.


If you try shoes on your treadmill or at home and they don't fit, you are welcome to send them back for return or exchange. However, if you have used the product enough to cause any wear, we will not accept it as a return. We provide sound advice and stand by our products, but we are also a small business and cannot accept worn-out items that are not returned for warranty purposes.

Items on sale are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Carbon-plated shoes are considered final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges

To initiate a return:

  1. Sign in to your shop account
  2. Click on your order
  3. Click 'Request Return' in the top right corner

15-DAY RETURN POLICY

Product returns are eligible for a refund within 15 days of receiving your order.

We process returns Monday through Friday. Please allow a few days for us to process your return. Refunds will appear on your credit card within 5 to 8 business days of our team finalizing your return.

  • You are responsible for the return shipping cost.
  • We do not accept international returns. 
  • Money will be returned to the original payment method, less 10% for credit card processing fees and administration (credit card companies do not return the fee charged on the original purchase after June 6th, 2023).
    PRODUCT CONDITION

    In order to return an item, you must ensure that your product meets all the following criteria:

    The item has not been worn beyond trying it on for fit. The original manufacturer's packaging and the hang tags are left intact (if they are damaged we reserve the right to charge a fee for damaged packaging). Include a copy of the return slip provided after your return is approved by our team. It was purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill and was purchased less than 15 days ago. Apparel must never have been worn.
    SALE ITEMS

    Items on sale are final sale and are not eligible for returns.

    NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

    The following items are final sales:
    - Avalanche Safety Equipment: Transceivers, Shovels, Probes, Airbags
    - Climbing Equipment: Ropes, Harnesses, Carabiners, Belay Devices, Slings. 
    - Ski Crampons
    - Carbon-plated running shoes


    Gift Cards are not eligible for return. 

    EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL


    If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within     14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without giving any reason.

    How to exercise your right of withdrawal

    To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. by using the withdrawal function in your account, or by contacting us at orders@skiuphill.ca). You may use the withdrawal function directly from your order in your shop account by clicking "Request Return."

    The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party you designate) receive the last item in your order. If the withdrawal period ends on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

    Refunds

    If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (but not any additional costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your returned goods. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction.

    You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. This includes cost of reimport into Canada which carries fees at a minimum of $80 to clear customs.

    Condition of returned goods

    Returned items must be in like-new condition. We reserve the right to deduct an amount reflecting any diminished value of the goods if that loss in value is due to unnecessary handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
