Head Kore 130 LV GW Ski Boots
Description
The Head Kore 130 LV GW is a freeride charger’s dream—race-boot precision with a legit walk mode. Built for expert skiers who prioritize power and edge control but still want to earn a few turns, it’s the narrow (98 mm) low-volume fit that locks your heel down and lets you drive big skis with confidence.
A stiff 130 flex shell, four micro-adjust Superleggera buckles, and a wide 53 mm power strap deliver alpine-boot response, while the updated ski/hike mechanism opens up a generous ~53° range of motion for touring or boot-packing. The new shell construction ditches the old nylon feel for damper PU, giving a smoother flex and better vibration control without sacrificing snap.
Inside, the revised Kore Pro liner—borrowed from the Formula series—molds more precisely and feels more connected, though still on the firmer, performance-oriented side. GripWalk soles and tech inserts mean it plays nice with both alpine and pin bindings, so you can roll from resort to sidecountry without swapping boots.
This boot is for strong, aggressive skiers with narrow feet who live for powerful downhill performance but appreciate a little uphill freedom. It’s not for wide feet or those chasing ultralight tourers—it’s unapologetically freeride-first.
What’s new vs. previous generation:
A completely reworked walk mechanism with a metal-to-metal lockup, smoother PU shell construction, upgraded liner fit, and improved flex feel—all making the latest Kore 130 LV GW more damp, durable, and precise than before.
