A grind for the mind and the body. Infamous as the squamish test piece for coast mountain athletes - stairs, roots and the steep angle make the kilometers drag by. The Queen and King of the Hill finals are taking us on the Evac trail this week!
Sea-to-Sky Evac Trail (2.0)
Strava Segment Link
Please time yourself manually! Strava is cool and all, but there can be mistakes with GPS data and your Strava time might not reflect your actual time, especially if there are a bunch of different routes up. So please time yourself manually by doing a split lap on your watch or doing a full start-stop on your watch. This manual time is your actual result. Good for you if it ends up matching your segment time on Strava, but it likely won't.
Segment's Start: At the signpost at the very start of the trail at the back of the gondola parking lot
Segment's Finish: At the signpost up by the gondola as soon as you exit the narrow trail and hit gravel.

Please note that you cannot follow the old trail directly under the gondola towers. The trail follows a well marked path with blue ribbons. That said the Evac trail has several variations so as a first timer download the GPX file and take your time.
