How price matching works
What has to be true for a price match to qualify?
All of the following must apply:
- The product is identical: same model, size, variant (color/version), and year.
- The competitor has that exact size and variant in stock, not just the product line in general.
- The competitor is an authorized retailer of the brand and is based in Canada.
- The price match discount can't be stacked with other discounts or promotions.
- You purchased the item from us within the last 14 days.
Does this apply to seasonal or holiday pricing?
No. If you bought something at regular price ahead of a season, say, before Christmas, you can't request a price match once a seasonal sale like Boxing Day starts. The 14-day window applies to genuine price differences, not seasonal promotions.
Ski boots and bootfitting
Why aren't boots eligible for price matching?
We do not price match on ski boots or any product that involves our team's expertise and bootfitting service. The value is in the fit, not just the shell.
Bootfitting is included at a discounted rate for all new boots, whether purchased at regular price or on sale.
Requesting a price match
How do I request a price match before buying?
Email us at orders@skiuphill.ca with a link to the competitor's listing and we'll help you place your order at the new, lower price. If timing or product availability is an issue, contact us directly and we'll complete the order with you.
I already bought it — can I still get a price adjustment?
Yes. If the price of an item you bought drops on skiuphill.ca, or you find it for less elsewhere, within 14 days of your purchase, email us at orders@skiuphill.ca and we'll refund the difference. Standard price match conditions still apply.
If any free services came with your original purchase like mounting, wax, or a boot fit package, their value will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Sale prices on our site can change quickly and aren't guaranteed to last. If you spot a deal, don't wait around.
The fine print
What's excluded or non-negotiable?
- Our price match policy is valid in Canada only.
- Price match discounts cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, or membership rewards.
- All competitor pricing must be verifiable at online checkout.
- "Final Sale" items and items being liquidated are excluded.
- Marketplaces and auction sites like Amazon, eBay, and similar third-party platforms are not eligible.
- We won't match a price that violates the brand's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy.
- Approval is made at the discretion of our staff.
What if a price on your site is just wrong?
We do our best to keep pricing accurate, but occasional errors happen. If an item's price is listed incorrectly, we'll cancel the order for that item and let you know.
