Owl - Tenquille Traverse

Owl - Tenquille Traverse

Description: The Owl - Tenquille Traverse is a long point to point route high above the Pemberton Valley. This classic traverse will take you on a journey through all styles of technical terrail. Runners can expect, forested single track, rocky alpine trails, long talus fields, and sections of vague trail. Runners will be treated to gorgeous alpine views, alpine tarns, and wildlife. We recommend that runners go from South to North. Once you arrive at Tenquille lake you have two options depending on where you dropped off your shuttle vehicle. Either descend 9 KM to the Pemberton valley or drop your vehicle off at the Hurley FSR Spur Road trailhead (4WD high clearance required). This outing shouldn't be taken too lightly. The terrain is technical, slow going, and remote. We recommend finding another group who is keen on doing the traverse and doing a car swap.
