Description

This is not a weight-weenie touring boot. The Cochise 130 is built for skiers who want a resort-level alpine boot that can still skin for powder, access sidecountry lines, or crush the occasional big mission. It’s burly, damp, and powerful—exactly what you expect from a 130 flex, four-buckle shell.

The polyether C.A.S. shell gives it that true alpine feel with precise power transfer, while the customizable liner and heat-moldable shell let you dial in comfort without losing performance. The walk mechanism opens up a respectable range of motion for touring and bootpacks, but once locked into ski mode the Cochise feels like a proper downhill weapon. Vibram GripWalk soles add traction and stability when you’re scrambling across rock or icy approaches.

Character: Confident, powerful, and responsive—this is a freeride boot first and a touring boot second. It skis big skis hard, handles speed and crud without flinching, and gives you the support you need for aggressive descents. The walk mode isn’t meant for 2,000-meter vert days, but it’s smooth enough to get you up to the good stuff without killing your legs.

Best for: Advanced to expert freeride skiers who want a one-boot quiver. Perfect if you spend most of your time lapping lifts or charging big lines, but still want the freedom to skin into sidecountry zones or hike to freeride terrain.
