Description

The Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 105 BOA GW is built for intermediate to advanced skiers with narrow, low-volume feet who want a boot that rips downhill but can also handle some touring. The 105-flex polyurethane shell gives snappy, predictable energy transfer without feeling harsh, making it powerful yet forgiving. The BOA fit system replaces a traditional instep buckle, letting you micro-adjust the fit on the fly—tight for the descent, loosened for the climb—all without taking off your gloves.

In walk mode, you get 54 degrees of cuff movement, which feels natural when skinning or booting. GripWalk soles add solid traction when you’re walking around the lodge and keep you compatible with tech bindings for touring days. Atomic’s Memory Fit shells and liners can be custom-molded in minutes, so the break-in period is short and comfort is high.

On snow, the Hawx Ultra XTD 105 feels like an alpine boot first, with smooth flex and great edge hold, but it’s light and mobile enough for sidecountry laps or the occasional hut trip. It’s not the lightest touring option, but that extra mass helps with stability at speed. The narrow 98 mm last suits skiers who like a precise, locked-in fit, while those with wider feet may prefer the Hawx Prime XTD or Hawx Magna XTD models.

If you want a one-boot quiver that thrives inbounds and isn’t afraid of a skin track, this boot delivers precision, comfort, and just enough uphill versatility to keep your options open.
