Norda 055 Shoes (Women's)

The 005 was already hard to argue with. Norda looked at it anyway and said "let's do even more". 

More stack. More lug. More lockdown. The 055 is the rowdy sibling with the same bloodline butdifferent disposition. Where the 005 proved itself as a lightweight racer, the 055 takes every ingredient that made it work and turns up the volume.

The upper is pure Norda: 100% bio-based Dyneema, now with a wider weave for better breathability and faster water escape when the trail goes sideways. New to the 055 is a custom knit collar; a three-quarter height sock-like bootie that dials in lockdown and keeps debris outside.

The midsole is 100% Arnitel TPEE, a foam that delivers high energy return in a very stable, plateless base. The stack gains 5mm over the 005, landing at 38mm at the heel with a 7mm drop. No carbon plate. Just pure foam feedback and trail feel, stacked high enough to run all day without wrecking your legs.

The outsole is Vibram Megagrip Elite; Norda's exclusive, same as the 005, same Formula One-inspired grip compound. The lug pattern is a throwback: same 5mm depth and configuration as the original 001, which means serious bite on loose terrain, scree, and anything wet.

Weight comes in around 8.2 oz (men's size 9), which, given the stack height, is pretty unreasonable. In the best way.

This is a max-cushion trail racer that doesn't need a carbon plate to justify the price. It needs Dyneema, Arnitel, and Vibram Elite to justify it and it has all three.

The 055 runs the same for length as the 001. We recommend you add a 1/2 size up from your normal size.
