At just 235 g (S/M), it's one of the lightest certified climbing helmets available, making it easy to forget you're wearing it during long days in the mountains.
The low-profile In-Mold construction combines a lightweight polycarbonate shell with an EPS foam liner for an excellent balance of durability, ventilation, and comfort. Large ventilation ports keep air moving on hot approaches and sustained climbs, while Petzl's TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION design provides increased coverage around the sides, front, and rear of the head where impacts can occur.
Designed for all-day comfort, the METEOR features an adjustable headband that can be operated with gloves and accommodates long hair thanks to a dedicated ponytail notch. Integrated clips make attaching a headlamp simple for alpine starts or late descents, and the headband folds neatly into the shell for compact packing.

Please Note: The Petzl METEOR is certified for climbing and mountaineering but does not meet the EN 18100:2024 standard for ski mountaineering helmets and should not be used where that certification is required.
Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.
Return Process & Fees
International returns are not accepted. A 10% deduction applies to all refunds to cover credit card processing and administrative fees.
