Description

The Cochise 120 is the boot for skiers who want real downhill authority without being locked into a pure alpine prison. With a true 120 flex, it delivers the kind of power, edge control, and stability you expect when conditions are firm, chopped, or moving fast.

On snow, the Cochise skis first and tours second, unapologetically. Reviews consistently point to its strong, predictable flex and confidence at speed, especially for aggressive skiers who drive the front of the boot. It is not a race plug, but it is close enough to keep demanding skiers happy while being far more forgiving and versatile day to day.

Fit-wise, Tecnica’s C.A.S. shell and liner are a standout. The shape works for a lot of feet out of the box, and it responds extremely well to bootfitting if you want to fine tune volume, heel hold, or hotspots. This is a boot you can actually make your boot.

The walk mode and GripWalk soles make it practical for sidecountry laps, bootpacks, and short tours. No, it is not a featherweight, and it is not trying to be. This is a downhill-biased freeride boot that happens to walk well enough to expand your options.

Who it’s for: advanced to expert skiers who ski hard inbounds, push big skis, and want the freedom to tour occasionally without changing boots. If you value power, reliability, and one boot simplicity more than shaving grams, the Cochise 120 is very much your lane.
