The Roam 11 is Tantrums’ vest for the longer days. Where the Crest 6 is built around race-day minimalism and fast efforts, the Roam 11 is the choice when you need to carry more: a full shell layer, extra nutrition for a mountain 50K or 100K, mandatory kit, and real hydration capacity without reaching for a full pack.

The construction carries over from the Crest 6: Cordura-infused textile shell, monofilament and spacer mesh backbone chassis for a stable, low-bounce carry at any pace, and the revised sternum fit system. The additional volume over the Crest 6 lives in a larger rear compartment that handles a layer, extra food, and whatever the mandatory kit list requires without turning the vest into a bag. Front shoulder pockets fit 600ml soft flasks, with a hydration bladder sleeve in the main compartment for longer days where flask volume alone doesn’t cut it.

Pocket organization is clean with front mesh pouches outside the flask pockets for snacks and small items, a zippered right chest pocket, the main rear compartment with bladder sleeve, and a secondary zip pocket. Sternum system uses a multi-clasp daisy chain with vertical adjustment, the same one that keeps things locked in on the Crest 6 at race pace. Salomon pole quiver compatible.

Fluid capacity runs slightly larger than the category standard. The front flask sleeves fit 2x 600ml HydraPak flasks (included) rather than the 500ml standard. The rear has a narrow vertical sleeve that takes up to a 1.5L reservoir if needed. Front pockets include large stretch mesh pouches in front of the flask sleeves, a zippered pocket on the right, and a mesh envelope pocket on the left. Rear storage adds a cylindrical pass-through lumbar compartment. The sternum system uses three clasps on a daisy chain that adjust vertically, easy to open and close on the move while staying secure once set. Fabric loops on the top left shoulder and bottom right flank are compatible with a Salomon pole quiver.
