The Ambit LS is Scott’s everyday mountain goggle for skiers who want one lens that handles everything without thinking about it. The AMP LS lens combines Scott’s Amplifier contrast-enhancement technology with photochromic self-tinting, adapting automatically from overcast and flat-light conditions through to full sun. The result is a goggle you don’t have to manage across the day.

The Freeform lens is the standout feature: extremely wide horizontally with an accelerated curve toward the bottom, delivering peripheral vision that a standard cylindrical lens can’t match. At 173mm wide by 93mm tall it’s a generous field of view, designed for medium to large faces. NoFog anti-fog treatment on the inner lens. NoSweat triple-layer molded face foam sits comfortably across variable face shapes and handles moisture over long days without breaking down. Extra-wide no-slip silicone strap is helmet-compatible.

At 155g it’s not a ultralight goggle, but the weight is in the right places: frame and foam rather than lens bulk. Comes with a microfiber goggle bag.

Cinnamon LS S1–S3

A warm-tinted photochromic lens that covers a wide light range from flat/low light through to moderate sun. The S1–S3 range makes it the more versatile of the two — genuinely usable on overcast days, in tree shadows, and in variable spring conditions where light shifts constantly, while still darkening enough for moderate bright days. The cinnamon/amber base tint enhances contrast and depth perception on flat terrain and in low-definition snow conditions. Best all-mountain, all-conditions choice if you ski in variable or coastal weather.

Blue Chrome LS S2–S4

A cooler-tinted photochromic lens with a mirrored blue chrome coating that sits in a brighter light range. The S2–S4 range means it’s optimized for moderate to very bright conditions — high alpine days, bluebird resort days, spring snowpack in full sun, glacial terrain. The mirror coating reduces glare and cuts harsh reflected light off snow. Not the right call for flat-light or heavily overcast days where it won’t have enough VLT to perform well. Best choice for skiers who predominantly ski in good weather and want maximum performance in bright conditions.

In summary: Cinnamon LS for variable and mixed conditions, Blue Chrome LS for bright and sunny days. If you’re choosing one and ski in coastal BC or anywhere with unpredictable weather, the Cinnamon LS is the safer all-day pick.
