Petzl Whisper Harness
The Whisper is the first harness to use Petzl’s MATRYX fabric: individually coated strands of high-modulus polyethylene (HMPE) and nylon woven together, which allows the harness to be padded for support where it counts while stripping weight everywhere it doesn’t. The result is 170g in a size M — among the lightest harnesses available at full functionality, not at the cost of features.
Five gear loops total: two rigid loops at the front, two at the rear, one flexible at the rear, plus two Caritool attachment points. That’s a full alpine or multi-pitch rack without creative packing. The HMPE composition makes the tie-in points, webbing, and gear loops highly abrasion-resistant, which matters on rough rock and in mountaineering terrain. The slim waistbelt and leg loops stay out of the way on the approach and barely register when you’re moving. MATRYX also wicks moisture efficiently, which is the comfort detail that shows up on long hot days on the wall.

Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.
Return Process & Fees
International returns are not accepted. A 10% deduction applies to all refunds to cover credit card processing and administrative fees.
