Patagonia Das Light Hoody (Women's)
The Patagonia Women's DAS Light Hoody is a versatile, ultralight synthetic-insulated jacket, designed for cold-weather activities like alpine climbing, backcountry skiing, and fast-paced hiking. It features 65g of PlumaFill insulation, which mimics down but retains warmth even when wet, making it ideal for damp or unpredictable conditions. This makes it especially useful for climbers or hikers who need reliable warmth without the bulk.
The Pertex Quantum shell adds wind resistance and a durable water repellent (DWR) finish to shed light rain and snow, while maintaining breathability for active users. It is incredibly lightweight and packs down small, perfect for those seeking an emergency layer that won’t weigh them down during fast-paced adventures. This balance of warmth, packability, and weather protection is one of the reasons the DAS Light is highly regarded as a "belay jacket" for climbers or a backup layer for backcountry explorers.
Targeted at active women who spend time in cold alpine or transitional weather, this jacket performs exceptionally well in conditions from chilly belays to mountain runs. Its roomy fit allows it to be layered over other gear, making it suitable for use year-round, from cool spring hikes to fast-paced winter activities.
