Patagonia DAS Light Hoody (Mens)
The Patagonia Men's DAS Light Hoody is a highly versatile, lightweight synthetic jacket designed for cold-weather adventures, especially suited for mountaineering, climbing, and other high-output alpine activities. Its core insulation is 65 grams of Patagonia's PlumaFill, a synthetic down-like material that retains warmth even in wet conditions. The hoody’s outer fabric is made from Pertex Quantum Pro, which provides excellent wind resistance and water resistance, making it a robust option for challenging environments. Weighing around 320 grams, it offers warmth without bulk, making it easy to pack into your kit for any outing.
Key features include a helmet-compatible hood, a two-way front zipper for ease of access while belaying, and a spacious fit that layers well over other gear. The DAS Light Hoody’s weather resistance and quick-drying abilities make it an excellent emergency layer, capable of handling unexpected snow or rain during high-exertion activities.
Ideal for climbers, mountaineers, and backcountry adventurers, the hoody offers a functional blend of warmth, comfort, and durability without sacrificing mobility. It’s praised for its ability to protect against wind and light rain while remaining breathable enough for active pursuits.
