Built for skin tracks, storm laps, and everything in between, the Nano-Air Ultralight Freeride Jacket is designed for backcountry riders who never stop moving. This snow-specific piece blends targeted weather protection with breathable insulation, so you don’t have to keep layering up and down when the conditions—or your effort—change.
The hood and shoulders use a tougher, weather-resistant recycled nylon ripstop for defense where it counts, while the rest of the jacket leans on an airy recycled polyester fabric that breathes, stretches, and keeps bulk to a minimum. Inside, 20-g FullRange® insulation delivers just enough warmth on the move, with underarm panels that dump excess heat before you overcook.
The Light Touch Expansion Hood slides easily over a beanie or under a helmet, even when the jacket’s fully zipped. A longer, articulated cut means you’ve got freedom of movement whether you’re bootpacking, skiing down, or wearing it under a pack. Low-profile pockets keep essentials secure without snagging straps, and slim cuffs fit cleanly under gloves.
Fair Trade Certified™ sewn and made from 100% recycled shell, lining, and insulation materials, this is Patagonia’s lightest freeride-ready Nano-Air yet. At just 270 g (9.5 oz), it’s a minimalist’s answer to fast, cold days in the mountains.
