The Patagonia Men’s Capilene® Midweight Crew is the do-everything baselayer built for cold mornings, high-output missions, and everything in between. Made from 100% recycled polyester, it pairs a smooth outer face that layers easily with a diamond-grid interior that traps warmth, breathes efficiently, and pulls sweat off your skin. Hollow-core yarns speed up drying, while HeiQ® Mint odor control keeps things fresh after long days outside.
Raglan sleeves and full underarm gussets free up your movement, whether you’re skinning, climbing, or running. Low-profile thumb loops keep sleeves in place when you’re adding layers, and the stretchy fabric keeps it all comfortable. A self-fabric crewneck with taped seams feels soft against the skin, and the locker loop makes hang-drying simple.
Fair Trade Certified™ sewn, this crew not only performs in the mountains but also supports the people who made it. At just 176 grams, it’s light enough to disappear under layers but tough enough to be your daily driver in unpredictable mountain weather.
Bottom line: Patagonia’s most versatile baselayer—warm, breathable, quick-drying, and built to handle whatever you throw at it.
