The Patagonia Women’s Capilene® Thermal Weight Bottoms are built for cold-weather missions where warmth, breathability, and mobility all matter. They use lofted Polartec® Power Grid® fabric, a design that traps heat while wicking moisture and moving easily under layers. The smooth face slides comfortably beneath shells, while the open-grid interior feels soft against the skin and keeps air circulating so you don’t overheat.

A touch of spandex adds stretch for unrestricted movement, with a gusseted crotch for comfort on the climb or during long days on the trail. Flatlock seams reduce chafing, and a brushed elastic waistband stays soft against the skin without digging in. HeiQ® Pure odor control keeps things fresh between washes, making these bottoms reliable for multi-day use.

Made from 92% recycled polyester and 8% spandex, the fabric is bluesign® approved and finished with an anti-pilling treatment. Like much of Patagonia’s line, these baselayers are sewn in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, ensuring the people who made them earned a premium for their labor.
