Insurance you forget you're carrying. At 150g and packed to 5x9cm, the Bivy Ultralight fits in any pocket and stays there until you need it, which hopefully you never do.
The silver-coated interior reflects body heat back in. The PU-coated polyester exterior is windproof, waterproof, and dirt resistant. Fits one person comfortably or two in a pinch. The orange shell makes you visible to rescuers if things go sideways. Comes with a stowaway bag that keeps it compressed and easy to find at the bottom of a pack.
Not a planned sleeping solution, not something you test for comfort on a warm night, but the kind of thing that turns a serious situation into a manageable one.
