Ortovox Single Bivy
Heavier and more robust than the Bivy Ultralight, the Single is the bivy for skiers and alpinists who want something that can genuinely double as a sleeping bag cover on a planned bivouac and still function as emergency shelter when things go sideways. The thicker PU-coated fabric handles rougher use than the ultralight version without tearing or degrading as quickly.
Windproof, water and dirt repellent, signal orange throughout. Alpine emergency signals printed on the exterior for communication with rescuers. Compressible rolltop stowaway bag packs it to 6.5 x 22cm. Fits one person.
The distinction from the Ultralight is straightforward: more durable material, more weight, better suited for deliberate overnight use or high-use rescue kit. If it's only ever going to be emergency insurance at the bottom of your day pack, the Ultralight is the more practical carry. If you're doing multi-day tours or keeping it in a group rescue kit that gets used regularly, the Single holds up better.

Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.
Return Process & Fees
International returns are not accepted. A 10% deduction applies to all refunds to cover credit card processing and administrative fees.
