Ortovox Pro Bivy
The Pro is the most capable bivy in the Ortovox lineup, and the one worth carrying when the objective is serious enough that emergency shelter might need to do more than keep one person alive overnight.
The PU-coated ripstop polyester is windproof, water and dirt repellent, and significantly more robust than the Single or Ultralight. Silver interior lining reflects body heat. The difference from the other bivies in the range is the loop system: multiple attachment points make the Pro genuinely multifunctional. It converts into a seated tent with hook-and-loop opening, a sun awning, an improvised descent stretcher for an injured person, and a bivouac knot training tool. For a guide, ski patrol team, or group travelling in serious terrain, that versatility has real value beyond the emergency shelter function.
Fits 1 to 2 people at 120 x 235cm. Packs to 9 x 22cm in the rolltop stowaway bag. Signal orange throughout.
At 680g it's the heaviest option by a wide margin. Worth carrying when the group, the terrain, or the objective justifies the extra capability.

We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.
