Ortovox Peak 42S Ski Pack
The 42S is the Peak 45 on a shortened back system: same Swisswool 3D construction, same metal strut frame, same full-contact wool-lined back panel, shoulder straps, and hip belt, sized for smaller torsos. Three litres less volume, 50g lighter, otherwise identical in intent and capability.
At 42L it still covers everything a serious multi-day alpine or ski mountaineering objective demands. Top and perimeter side zipper access, dedicated safety compartment, side crampon compartment with drainage holes, rope attachment and exit, ice axe and pole holders, diagonal and A-frame ski carry, snowboard and snowshoe attachment, helmet net, hip belt pocket, map and guidebook pockets, hidden internal pocket. Chest strap with signal whistle, emergency card in lid pocket. 420D Nylon Ripstop and Manstar shell, recycled polyamide content throughout. 5-year warranty.
For smaller framed alpinists who've been making the 45 work by shortening every strap, this is the pack that was built for them.

We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.
Return Process & Fees
International returns are not accepted. A 10% deduction applies to all refunds to cover credit card processing and administrative fees.
