Ortovox Haute Route 40 Ski Pack
The Haute Route has been around nearly as long as ski touring itself, and it's earned its reputation by working well on long, demanding objectives season after season. At 40L it covers everything from a big day tour to a multi-day hut traverse without asking you to compromise on what you bring.
The O-Flex 2 back system is the reason guides have used this pack for years. An S-shaped stabilizer distributes load between hips and shoulders across long days with heavy kit, and the hip fins wrap inside the back system for seamless body contact rather than sitting on top of it. Load control cords dial in the fit under a moving load. At 1,420g for a 40L pack with a proper frame, it's impressively light. The fabric is double-layered 420D Cordura Nylon Oxford with PU coating throughout.
Access is top and back, which means you can get into the main compartment without laying the pack down on wet snow. Dedicated safety compartment for beacon, probe, and shovel. Eight compartments total handle layers, food, technical gear, rope, maps, and anything else a serious day or multi-day tour demands. Diagonal and side ski attachment, wide ski fastener up to 150mm, snowboard and snowshoe attachment, crampon attachment, ice axe and pole holder, fixed helmet net, gear loops, map pocket, hydration compatible. There's also a Bright Inside lining so you can actually find things at the bottom of the bag.

Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.
Return Process & Fees
International returns are not accepted. A 10% deduction applies to all refunds to cover credit card processing and administrative fees.
