Patagonia R1® Air Crew (Men's)
The R1 Air Crew is the simplest thing in the R1 lineup: a crewneck fleece with no hood, no full zip, just the fabric and a single chest pocket. What it gives up in features it makes up for in how it wears. The hollow-core recycled polyester jacquard fleece in a zigzag knit pattern is genuinely soft against the skin, wicks moisture fast, and breathes better than a standard fleece at this weight.
The hollow-core yarn is the key detail: fluffed during manufacturing to create more surface area for moisture transfer and more air pockets for warmth retention, without adding weight. The result is a fleece that performs better at high output than its appearance suggests, and comfortably enough at low output that it crosses into everyday wear. Offset shoulder seams sit cleanly under pack straps. Quick-drying woven binding at the cuffs lies flat without bunching at the wrist.

We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
