The Dynafit Speed 22 Backpack delivers 22 liters of capacity at about 750 g, striking a balance between room for full ski touring gear and fast-moving efficiency. It features a diagonal ski carry you can hook without removing the pack, a dedicated crampon compartment, and an integrated helmet net. An ice-axe attachment, hip belt with zip pocket, and height-adjustable chest strap with safety whistle keep gear secure and accessible. A large top zipper gives quick access to the main compartment.
This pack is built for day missions and mid-distance ski tours where you need avalanche safety gear, extra layers, food, and maybe a camera, but don’t want the drag of a bulky expedition pack. The design is durable, streamlined, and organized so transitions are quick and loads stay stable both uphill and on the descent. It isn’t an ultralight race pack, but it is versatile, practical, and dependable.
The bottom line: the Speed 22 is the one-pack solution for serious ski tourers who want capacity and features without losing speed.
