The Radical Pro is the boot that answered a question Hoji fans had been asking for years: what if the Hoji Pro Tour had a toe welt, a stiffer tongue, and a fit that worked for more than one foot shape? The answer turned out to be one of the better all-round touring boots on the market, and the 2027 version sharpens the formula further with two targeted upgrades.

The foundation hasn't changed. The Hoji Lock System still does its thing: one lever, one motion, and you're flipping between 60 degrees of cuff rotation in walk mode and a fully locked 120 flex unit for the descent. No half-measures, no wiggle. The cuff and shell lock into a positively tensioned unit that transfers power in a way that usually requires a dedicated freeride boot. The Ultra Lock Strap and three micro-adjustable buckles handle the fit work, and the Pro Driving Spoiler adds a last increment of downhill response. Heel and toe welts make it compatible with step-in crampons. The 103.5mm last sits on the wider side of the touring market, which is either exactly what you need or something to try on before committing.

For 2027, the tongue gets a dual-density construction that improves power transfer in ski mode without stiffening the walk feel, and the outsole upgrades to Vibram for meaningfully better grip on approach terrain, rock, and firm snow where the previous Pomoca compound showed its limits. Both are the kind of refinements that matter across a long season of varied objectives.
