The Atomic Backland XTD 120 ski boots are a top choice for avid backcountry skiers who prioritize lightweight performance and excellent downhill capability. Designed with touring in mind, these boots strike a balance between efficient uphill mobility and reliable downhill control. Weighing around 1375 grams (in size 26.5), they are lightweight enough for long days of skinning while still offering a 120 flex for solid power transfer on the descents.
Constructed with a carbon-loaded polyamide shell and featuring Atomic's "Hybrid Overlap" design, the Backland XTD 120 provides a snug fit and responsive feel. The boot’s 100mm last offers a comfortable mid-volume fit, which is ideal for those with average to slightly wider feet. The Cross Lace 2.5 cable system ensures a secure closure around the foot, further enhancing comfort during long tours
