Atomic Backland 95 Skis

The Atomic Backland 95 is built for skiers who want the best of both worlds: feather-light efficiency on the skin track and confidence-inspiring performance on the way down. It’s the kind of ski that feels just as at home on long volcano missions as it does on mid-winter powder laps. With an Ultra-Light Woodcore reinforced by a Carbon Backbone, it keeps the weight low without losing stability or power. The HRZN 3D tip shape adds float in soft snow and keeps turns smooth in crust, while full sidewalls give it reliable edge grip on firm snow and durability for rugged terrain. The all-mountain rocker profile blends early rise with camber underfoot, delivering versatility whether you’re navigating steep couloirs, open alpine bowls, or icy tree lines.

The Backland 95 climbs effortlessly, holds a solid edge when things get icy, and still has the playfulness to make corn laps or powder days a blast. In firm conditions it remains composed, and in soft snow it’s surprisingly lively for such a light ski. At around 2,700 g per pair in a 177 cm length, it’s light enough for big days yet solid enough to handle aggressive descents.

This ski is for skiers who value efficiency but refuse to compromise when it’s time to drop in. It’s a quiver-worthy tool for backcountry purists, adventure seekers, and anyone who believes their touring ski should be just as fun going down as it is going up.
