This is Adidas’ trail race weapon. The Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra 2 is built for runners who treat dirt like a start line and prefer pace over sightseeing. It’s light, energetic, and unapologetically fast.
At its core is a Lightstrike Pro midsole paired with Energy Rods, delivering a snappy, propulsive ride that feels efficient at speed. The geometry rolls you forward, encouraging rhythm and momentum over long distances. Reviews consistently note its race-ready feel: high rebound, quick turnover, and a platform that rewards strong mechanics.
Underfoot, Continental™ Rubber provides confident grip on hardpack, dry singletrack, and moderately loose terrain. It’s happiest on buffed-out trails and race courses where you can open it up. In highly technical, slow, rock-hopping terrain, it feels more “precision tool” than mountain tank which is exactly the point.
The upper is lightweight and performance-driven. Breathable, secure, and dialed for lockdown at speed. Comfort is tuned for race day rather than all-day cruising. This shoe assumes you came to move.
Who it’s for:
Trail racers, ultra runners chasing efficiency, and experienced runners who want a plated, road-inspired feel adapted for dirt. If you’re toeing start lines, targeting PRs, or logging fast long runs, this shoe makes sense.
Who it’s not for:
Casual trail joggers, technical scramble enthusiasts, or anyone looking for max protection and plush cruising comfort.
Fast legs. Rolling terrain. Long efforts. The Agravic Speed Ultra 2 doesn’t just handle pace, it asks for it.
