Description: The Wedgemount Lake trail is steep and relentless. All your hard work will not be in vain. Wedgemount Lake is nothing short of spectacular. Runners will be rewarded with views of impressive local peaks such as Mt. Cook, Mt. Weart, Wedgemount, Parkhurst Peak, and Rethel Peak. Continue for a couple km along the side of Wedgemount Lake to the edge of the Wedgemount Glacier. Look for the glaciologist survey markers. You will be shocked by the amount of ice that has melted over the years.
