Tricouni Meadows

Description: Tricouni is a classic local summit. The triangular shaped peak is visible from various points along the Sea To Sky corridor. Runners will enjoy a beautiful and technical out and back to the uppermost of the Tricouni Lakes. This an excellent outing for a hot summer day with many options for a dip in the gorgeous alpine lakes. Please be aware of bears in this area. There is a resident Grizzly that calls this valley home. For those interested in summiting Tricouni peak information on the route can be found in Matt Gunn’s Scrambles in Southwest BC guidebook. The west ridge of Tricouni involves sections of steep Talus and 4th class scrambling with exposure. Note: In the spring the Tricouni Meadows trail is often quite muddy.

Access Update: There is a road washout low down that requires an extra 3.5km and 400meters of running on logging roads.
