May 17th to May 25th 2025
A scrappy, technical beast that'll challenge your uphill skill, agility, and patience. You’ll navigate punchy climbs, tangled roots, and rocky steps until your legs burn and your heart pounds, all the way to the top of Debeck's Hill. Welcome to week one—let the chaos begin.
Getting There
Park at the end of Tantalus Road. From the trailhead, take "Through the Looking Glass" Northbound until you reach the start (bottom) of Pleasure trail. The start of the Pleasure Trail is marked with a reflector. The segment starts as soon as you turn right and head up onto Pleasure Trail.
The Route
Start your watch as soon as you turn right off of "Through the Looking Glass" and onto Pleasure Trail.
From the bottom of Pleasure Trail, run/hike/scramble/crawl up until you reach the big "Pleasure Trail" wood sign and the junction with Rigs in Zen. Keep going uphill and follow Rigs in Zen (generally sticking to the left trail up Rigs in Zen will prevent getting off-trail) to the top of Debeck's Hill.
Stop your watch when you reach end of the narrow trail and you step onto the Debeck's access path.
