Description: Petgill lake is a pleasant out-and-back. The trail gradually ascends through forested terrain. Once you arrive at the go left for around 100 meters then follow a small trail uphill for a couple minutes to a beautiful viewpoint. This makes the forested run up more worthwhile. Consider not doing this run on a weekend since parking will be hard to find and crossing the highway is dangerous when busy.
