Ortovox Pro Guide Shovel
The Pro Guide splits the difference between the compact Pro Light and the full-size Pro Rescue. It's the shovel most guides actually reach for on long touring days: not the lightest option, not the biggest, but the one that balances pack size, blade volume, and real-world digging efficiency across the widest range of scenarios.
The blade is 640cm² of anodized AL 6061 T6 aluminum with high sidewalls, stability ribs, and a sharpened flat edge that cuts through hard snow cleanly. At 3.2 litres per scoop it moves meaningful volume without the bulk of the Pro Rescue's 720cm² blade. The flat profile makes it genuinely useful for snow profiles, rutschblock tests, and igloo construction, which is why the German Mountain and Ski Guides Association tested and recommended it specifically. Tested and endorsed by the German Mountain and Ski Guides Association.
The oval telescoping shaft keeps the blade aligned on assembly without rotating, and the quick-lock slide-in guide connects without button-pressing. T-grip handle switches for left and right-handed users. 90-degree plug clearing function. Four fixing holes for rescue sled assembly. UIAA 156 certified. Packs to 43cm, extends to 85cm.

Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product is in like-new condition.
Footwear may be tried indoors only (home or treadmill). All returned items must be unworn beyond fit testing, include original manufacturer packaging and hang tags (fees may apply if damaged) and have been purchased from SkiUphill-RunUphill within the 15-day window. Apparel must be completely unworn.
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
All sale items are final sale. The following items are not eligible for return: carbon-plated running shoes, avalanche safety equipment (transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags), climbing equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabiners, belay devices, slings), ski crampons, helmets and gift cards.

International returns are not accepted. A 10% deduction applies to all refunds to cover credit card processing and administrative fees.
