Nevar is Raven spelled backwards. That's not an accident.

For years, skiers who loved everything about the Hoji lineup asked for the same ski with one change: a little camber underfoot. Hoji listened. The Nevar takes the Raven's platform, same 104mm waist, same aspen-maple core, same carbon stringers, same neoprene tip inserts, and flips the profile. Three millimeters of camber underfoot.

The result is a ski that holds a line on firm snow and bites into steep, committing terrain with real confidence. Powder Magazine tested it through the Grand Tetons and described the edge hold as "incredible" on chattery surfaces where the Raven's reverse camber would come loose. Hop turns in steep couloirs are predictable. High-speed variable snow is manageable rather than anxiety-inducing. The long 22m radius keeps it composed at speed without feeling locked in, and the low swing weight comes around easily in tight terrain. Early tip and tail rise mean it still releases from turns with ease when the snow softens up.

Worth being straight: this is not a powder ski first. The Raven floats and surfs; the Nevar grips and charges. In deep snow the Nevar works fine, but if you're chasing powder days specifically, the Raven is still the call. The Nevar is for skiers who want one ski that handles the full range of what the mountains actually deliver across a season, not just the good days.
