Description: The quintessential Squamish Out-And-Back climb. The Stawamus Chief 1st peak trail begins in lush rainforest and consistently ascends the back side of the Chief. After about 450 meters of gain prepare yourself for stunning views of the Howe Sound and surrounding peaks as you make your way up the summit slabs.
