Description: Enjoy this out and back into the Sky Pilot Basin. Runners will be treated to excellent technical trails and spectacular views of Sky Pilot, Co Pilot, and surrounding summits. Early in the season expect long sections of firm snow once in the alpine. At this time of the year mountaineering skills are recommended. The snow usually melts towards the end of June/early July. For information on Sky Pilot mountain refer to the Scrambles in Southwest BC guidebook or the Sea To Sky Backcountry Map (the map is a great asset to have for this area).
