Description: Do you enjoy taking photos of yourself swan diving into aqua blue alpine lakes? If so you should probably make an outing to Cirque Lake and Hidden Peak. Cirque lake is a lesser known part of Callaghan Provincial park that is well worth a visit. The only complication is that runners will need to Canoe, Kayak, or SUP across Callaghan Lake. The plus side is that the crystal clear waters and beautiful setting make this paddle quite pleasant. From Callaghan Lake it is only a couple hundred meters of gain to reach Cirque Lake. The route to Hidden Peak is primarily off trail but is relatively simple. Stay on the broad ridge until the summit and descend the way you came.
