Break out your carbons and skinsuits, Fast Fall is here. Alpine season is winding down and the regular rains are returning. Perfect time to keep runs short and sweet and play with some speed!
For the 8 weeks in October and November, Tempo Tuesday workouts will be tailored to practicing some speed mechanics. We’re also bringing back the 3rd edition of the Oceanfront Mile and the 2nd Twilight 5000m so you can showcase that newfound speed.

Consistency Card
As with anything, consistency is the key to improving. To encourage showing up, we’ve got another set of punch cards and smiley stickers to record attendance. At the end of the program, everyone who attends a minimum of 8 out of 12 in-person workouts/events will get a cool piece of Adidas swag and be entered in for a chance to win one of two pairs of Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5 shoes. Eligible events include all 8 Tempo Tuesdays, October and November VK ‘races’, the Oceanfront Mile, and the Twilight 5000m. You must attend Tempo Tuesday workouts in-person, with the group, to receive a sticker for showing up.
Oceanfront Mile - Friday, Oct 23 (evening)
For the long distance trail runner - as so many folks identify - the mile might as well be a 100m dash. Come sprint as fast as you can on arguably the most scenic paved mile there is. Twilight 5000m - Friday, Nov 13 (evening)
All the world’s fastest ever times are recorded on synthetic surface tracks. So why not chase a personal best under those same conditions? Join us at West Vancouver’s Harry Jerome Oval for the Twilight 5000m and chase that elusive 5km PB under lightning-quick conditions.
