“Heli-of-a-Run” Trail Running Camps
Nestled high in the Canadian Rockies, bordering on Banff National park, this lodge sits at the treeline beneath the Lyell and Mons Glaciers.
With untouched high alpine meadows, old growth forests, fossils, wildflowers and waterfalls in every direction, this is a truly special location.
At an altitude of 2,100m (7,000ft) the lodge is only accessible by helicopter or by foot. Rustic but with modern amenities and conveniences. The lodge has electricity provided by a small hydro-electric generator, limited internet services and a wood heated backcountry sauna.
Guests can expect runs from 10-18kms per day with the ability to add off trail sessions and optional summits. These are not your average groomed trails. Expect rugged, wild and remote sections with moderate exposure, water crossings and some technical sections.
- Helicopter Transportation to and from the lodge
- All meals and snack included
- Hosted daily trail runs
