SkiUphill Purchase Policies

Thanks for shopping at SkiUphill. We are grateful that you see the expertise in the gear that we curate and that you chose to shop with us. We want to make sure that you can take your time to explore the gear, read reviews and get just the right equipment for whatever your next adventure is. 

    Price Matching Policy 

    If you find a better deal for a product elsewhere after you purchased it or would like SkiUphill to price match that product we can with these general qualifiers:

    • Product is identical (make, size, year) and in stock and in Canada (in CAD).
    • Price match discounts cannot be stacked with other discounts or promotions.
    • Price match policies do not apply to electronics. 
    • We can match a price for a product that you purchased within the last 15 days. Note this does not apply to seasonal pricing (ie. if you purchased a product for Christmas and would like a price match during a promotional sale like Boxing Day sale).
    • Price matching prior to a purchase requires contacting SkiUphill by email at info@skiuphill.ca and we will provide you with a one time use discount code.

    Returns

    The following items are final sales: Avalanche Safety Equipment, Climbing Equipment, Ropes, Helmets, Safety Gear, Ski Crampons due to safety concerns if they have been structurally damaged.

    Sale Items are a final sales (items discounted by more than 20%)

    We reserve the right to charge shipping on items that are heavily discounted so that we don't lose money shipping the item to you. We want to do right by you and also ensure that we continue as a local business.

    We accept returns on items that are in like-new condition within 30 days of original purchase. If you try shoes on your treadmill or at home and they don't fit, you are welcome to send them back for return or exchange. However, if you have used the product enough to cause any wear, we will not accept them as a return. We provide the best advice and stand by our products, but we also are a small business and cannot realistically accept returns on worn-out items that are not returned for warranty purposes.

    To return an item, these requirements apply;

    • The item has not been worn beyond trying it on for fit.
    • The original manufacturer's packaging and the hang tags are left intact
    • Include a copy of return slip provided after your return is approved by our team.
    • You are responsible for the return shipping cost.
    • We do not accept international returns. 
    • Money will be returned to the original payment method.

    Order Acceptance/Confirmation 

    SkiUphill may, in its sole discretion, refuse or cancel any order and limit order quantity. SkiUphill may also require additional qualifying information prior to accepting or processing any order. Once we receive your Online order, we’ll provide you with an email order confirmation. Your receipt of an order confirmation, however, does not signify SkiUphill’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. SkiUphill reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If SkiUphill cancels an order after you have already been billed, SkiUphill will refund the billed amount.
