Description

The Cochise 130 HV is the high-volume take on Tecnica’s freeride/touring hybrid. Same 130 flex, same alpine DNA, same walk mode—but with more room in the instep and forefoot. If you’ve got wider feet and want a boot that charges without compromise, this is the Cochise you’ve been waiting for.

Like the standard version, it’s a resort-first, touring-second design. The polyether C.A.S. shell and liner deliver true alpine power with plenty of room for customization. The four-buckle layout gives you classic precision and control, while the walk mechanism opens up solid range of motion for skinning short laps, accessing sidecountry lines, or stomping bootpacks. Vibram GripWalk soles keep you upright when the hike gets sketchy.

Character: Powerful, damp, and confident—this is a freeride boot with a little uphill versatility. It’s happiest crushing laps in-bounds or hammering big lines on freeride skis, but it still has enough walkability to get you beyond the rope line. The HV fit keeps performance high while giving wide-footed skiers space to stay comfortable all day.

Best for: Advanced to expert freeride skiers with wider feet who want a true alpine boot that won’t hold them back when the day calls for a skintrack or a bootpack. Perfect for sidecountry missions, lift laps, and aggressive skiing on big skis.
